ahh the memories. this is a little wooden shack, a bar where you can get a beer and some little bits of fried fish. it is located inside the sanddunes, about a 5 minute walk from the ocean. the little puddle of water you see here is a fresh water pond which is filled during the rainy season (between jan and june) and which evaporates during the dry half of the year. i came here virtually everyday and hung out in this place, reading and drinking my cold antarticas, or talking to the few tourists who discovered this little paradise, or the few locals who ventures this far. the dunes are on the left side of the village of canoa quebrada, about a half hour walk. most people get there by buggy. i recommend the walk.
